Roche Diagnostics's Customer Support Center and Training Academy Awarded for Revolutionizing IVD Industry in the Middle East
On November 5th, 2015, Roche Diagnostics Middle East was honoured with the "Innovation in Work Culture" award at the Daman Corporate Health Awards. Taking place in Dubai, UAE, the event recognizes top employers in the United Arab Emirates in a variety of categories including corporate wellness, health and safety, employee engagement and implementing innovation in the workplace.
Innovation is at the heart of what we at Roche. Since the establishment of our Management Center in 2012 to better serve the region, it was evident that exceptional customer support is necessary for business excellence and become the preferred IVD partner in the Middle East. That is why we adapted the set up of our innovative services such as customer support center and RDME Academy to meet the different needs of the 16 countries where we operate.
Roche Diagnostics Middle East"s Customer Support Center was one of two key pillars that were highlighted in this award. It may look like it is only a hotline number in 16 countries, however, the innovation and dedication put in from establishment to the current set up; in regards to infrastructure, technologies used, expertise, speed, accuracy and leveraging telecommunication, was noteworthy. Moreover, spearheading such an innovative service in the region requires strong expertise on mutiple fronts where our team is successfully leading.
On the other hand, our commitment to continuous education allowed us to identify an opportunity in sharing knowledge while leveraging our expertise in the IVD industry. Hence, the establishment of our RDME Academy; a platform to bring together a combination of online and offline training and educational sessions which cover numerous topics including medical value, system training, accreditation, quality control proficiency and biosafety. Yet, the RDME Academy website remains a new concept and fortifying it with high quality and unique content will only cement our position as the leading IVD in the Middle East.
Among 15 finalists for the "Innovation in the Work Culture" category with companies from various industries; we are pleased to win the prestigous award which highlights excellence in fostering innovation from the grassroots to improve employee performance and service to customers. Hosted by MEED, Middle East and North Africa"s leaders in corporate intelligence and insights, our team were in attendance to represent Roche Diagnostics Middle East.
